Cookbook Nooks

I really like the idea of having bookcases in the kitchen whether they be built-in or stand alone. It's such a handy idea to keep those cook books organized and in one place. Plus it adds some extra pretty to the kitchen!

Even if you don't have enough cookbooks to fill the space (which I certainly wouldn't) you can then add some other pretties on the open shelving as well.

Once you gather your cookbooks that you want to display grab some other items that normally get tucked away, like your pretty cookware, dishes, and china.

Not only do these nooks and bookcases give you some added space for your cookbooks, but it also gives you space to display some of those pretty items that are often times hidden away in the cupboards.
