A Shout Out & Thank You

Looking back on comments and e-mails from my fellow bloggers & faithful readers from the past couple of weeks I have seen there are some lovely ladies who have given me a shout out. So sweet! Some of you gave me the Liebster nod & mentioned me as a versatile blogger {these were all on different days}. I have done the whole Liebster thing a while back so I don't think I will go through the whole process to a "t". But you all did leave questions for me to answer about myself so I thought it might be fun to answer a few of them.
Perhaps you'll all learn a little more about me :)

So for starters...thank you to these kind ladies for the shout out & mention!

Shelly over at Dolen Diaries

And here are a few things they were wanting to know about me...

When did you start blogging?

I started blogging in October 2010 as a way to collect my ideas, thoughts & inspirations of all things houses & more :)

Where do you most like to take your vacations?

Seth {my husband} & I really love visiting Maine. He's originally from there and I visited there lots growing up. So a lot of our summers have involved trips to southern Maine. This past summer we did however change things up and visit Cape Cod for the first time. That could easily be a new favourite!

Read any good books lately?

I haven't had too much time to read for pleasure lately. However, I have started to read Jen Hatmaker's book 7So far I'm really enjoying it. It's all about the "excess" that we have in our lives. And when I have a free minute I've been picking up and reading through Young Hose Love.

Coffee or tea?

Both. I definitely love my coffee in the morning. However, in the afternoon or evening I will lots of times have some tea {either earl grey or herbal of some sort}.

Early bird or night owl?

Night owl. Definitely not a morning person - I mean, I am when I need to be...but, mornings are not my fav.

What is your dream job?

My dream job would be to have my own home decor shop & work with interior decorating/design.

So there you have it. A little bit more about me.

Lastly, I wanted to give a shout out to a couple of bloggers.
My friend Sara & my friend Allison.

Both of these lovelies recently started blogging. Sara has been a blogger for a while but recently started Against the Grain where she shares her adventures as she and her little fam embark upon a more natural living lifestyle. She's got some great advice and recipes too! For instance...if you're looking for a more healthy way to get your chocolate fix, try these {they're yummy, I promise!}.

Allison just recently started blogging and I'm very excited about it! Her blog, Slippers by Day, is about life with her little fam, decorating, organizing and lots of other things in between. Like I said she just started blogging, but she shared this fantastic little DIY the other day and I just love it! It's cute & functional - 2 great things if you ask me!

Head on over and take a look around - I know that both Sara & Allison would love if you stopped by. Head on over and show them some love!

It's sunny here today and I am off to enjoy my Saturday!
Happy Weekending!

Oh and don't forget to enter the giveaway that I have going on. You can enter here!
