Margherita Pizza


It's been a while since I've shared a Foodie Friday post, so today I thought I'd share what we've been enjoying lately. It's simple, very low prep, and delicious! 



What you'll need:

Fresh Tomatoes
Fresh Basil
Naan Bread
Pesto
Mozzerlla Cheese

To Make:

*These make small personal pizzas {at least with the naan bread we use}, so top with as much or as little ingredients that you like*

1. Place naan bread on cookie sheet or pizza pan {you could cook directly on oven rack if you like}.
2. Top naan bread with pesto.
3. Add shredded mozza cheese & sliced tomatoes.
4. Season with a bit of pepper & pop in the oven for about 15 minutes {or a little longer} to melt cheese & heat.
5. Once removed from oven, top with fresh basil & devour.

Like I said, easy, quick, and oh so delicious.

These have become a go-to this summer because of how fast they can be thrown together. Plus, it's a great way to use up that fresh basil from our herb garden!
