Brick & Stone {Walls}

I always love to see brick & stone walls. They have the potential to be an eyesore. However, if you work with them they can be downright lovely in a space! 

Here are just a few beautiful spaces working with brick & stone walls...

This dining space is so.great. I love the overall rustic feel but that there are modern elements {like the light fixture & the dining set} as well. It goes to show that the stone doesn't have to define the space.

The same with this little nook. It's a little more modern feeling & the brick is a great backdrop!

The spaces in the photo above & below have a bit more of a country feel. Both great spaces, they are welcoming & beautiful!

In this last space the brick has the potential of being overwhelming since there is a lot of it. However, the modern elements & different textures give some balance and really help to make the space. The softer elements like the rug, the flowers, and even the pillow give a softer feel to the space & warm things up. Such a great workspace!
